Trackpad gestures
Trackpad Gestures. These are the default settings that we recommend. However, you can customize actions associated with each gesture in the preference panel. You may need a little practice to find the correct way to perform the gestures. You can perform these gestures. Funny enough, I actually did all of this work a while ago, before apple announced their new trackpad thingy. Many people who use the Magic Trackpad (or the Macbook’s trackpad) prefer to do a two finger click instead of a right mouse click. Let me preface by saying, I am not one of you. I like myself a good ol’ fashion right mouse click.
For more information about these gestures, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Trackpad. You can turn a gesture off, change the type of gesture, and learn which gestures work with your Mac.
Trackpad gestures require a Magic Trackpad or built-in Multi-Touch trackpad. If your trackpad supports Force Touch, you can also Force click and get haptic feedback.
